What food should I try in the USA?

Hi, my dear fellow classmates and trainees! I'm Sunny(S03-07).
How was your life here at KNUE? As for me, it's a mixture of some stress and a little fun.
I heard many of you have been to the United States. I have never been there, so what kind of foods shoul I try when I get there? What was your most favortite food in America? Or what kind of extra activity will be helpful? Please give me some advice depending on your experience. Any tips will be appreciated! I hope you fully enjoy the rest of life here at KNUE. See you...

Just Shocking! Can someone improve his acting skills?

Dear, my fellow trainees!
I really enjoyed all the skits you performed yesterday. And then, JUST SHOCKED!
Some of the performers were so good at acting, and I really envy their talents. How can they act so naturally, dance and sing gracefully? I just feel out of place for that kind of performing skills. Nowadays, we teachers need to have many qualities. Can I improve my poor performing skills? If you can give me any tips on that, please give me some. I am so lucky that I am studying with you guys with such great talents! See you...

While driving, what else are you up to?

Dear Classmates!
Could you tell me what else you're up to while driving?
What do you usually do when you are waiting behind the steering wheel in front of a red light? Listen to music? Use you cell phone? Touch up your makeup for female drivers?
As for me, the most common distracting behavior while driving is smoking. Sometimes I find myself clipping my nails waiting for the red light to change to green. What is yours?

Why don't you share your overseas experience?

Hi, dear classmates!
April is a cruel month, but now we're having just lovely days, aren't we?
Could you tell me one of your experiences during a trip abroad?
To share your overseas experience, impressions of the country, or any anectote could be of great help to us all, I think. My first and only overseas trip was a four-day visit to Beijing, China two years ago, which was held as our school trip. I didn't have so much fun there except sightseeing, because I had to spend most of my time keeping an eye on my students. It was so smoggy and sultry without any breeze in Beijing at that time. I only remember the unfamiliar smell and taste of Mapa Tofu(마파두부.How do you say it in English?), which made me lose my appetite and skip the next meal. Please tell me one of your experiences!!!

What tips would you give to a very stubborn student?

Hi, Classmates!
Here goes another week, but let's cheer up!
We have the general election day this week, and so many(?) holidays next month. What tips would you give to a student who is extremely stubborn and always tries to have his own way? I had a student who was late for school so often and even refused to come to school. He wants to drop out of school, but his parents want me to dissuade him from doing that. Whatever his parents and I said, he never listens. His parents count on me so much, but it's beyond my ability. What advice would you give to him? Help me, his parents, and the student!

What would you recommend as a place worth visiting?

Hi!
Time flies now we are here in K.N.U.E., don't you think that?
Would you recommend a place worth visiting near your hometown?
I hope to visit it with my family in the near future, for I haven't had few family trips recently.
I'd like to recommend that you visit 'Mungyung Saejae', which is lacated at Mungyung, Gyeongbuk Province. It's near my hometown, and its trail is so easy and apropriate for children.
Maybe you know that it's famous for the settings for many historical TV dramas like 'Taejo Wangeon' and others. The valley and stream water there are really clean and fantastic!

How about collecting Sam's comments on our Journal Writing?

What do you think of collecting all of Sam's comments on our journal writing?
I think we could learn some new words and expressions in his corrections and comments in red.
It could be used for our students in writing class.
What do you think?
